"Mr. Bill" Clark
Bill is a trumpet player, teacher and composer from the New York
metropolitan area. He has a BA in Music Ed from a cooperative degree
program between Hartwick College and the State University of New
York College at Oneonta and did his Masters studies in Music Composition
under Bud Udell at the University of Florida.
He is currently a private teacher, an arranger for various bands
around the country, and a judge for both the FMBC and the USSBA.
As a performer he had his own jazz group, backed up such artists
as Wynton Marsalis and Doc Severinsen and premiered a piece by Pulitzer
Prize winning composer Henry Brant on "CBS Sunday Morning with
Charles Kuralt."
In the drum corps world, Bill has worked with the Rochester Crusaders,
Rochester Firebirds, Teal Sound, Blue Saints, The Magic, and is
in his second year with Capital Sound.
